A Vision For California

For generations, California has been ‘The Land of Dreams’ – a home and destination of the brightest and most ambitious Americans. We need to reinvent “A New California.”

We were the “Land of Dreams.” I’ll bring that back for workers. Families. Millennials. All Californians.

Five Key Issues For California

Ease the Squeeze

Stagnant wages and rising costs are squeezing the hard working women and men of our state… Businesses are moving away to states that embrace and welcome them. Millennials can’t afford extreme housing costs and taxes hikes. We have a doable plan to keep our greatest asset – our people.

Putting the Power in the People's Hands

It’s a new exciting Age of Reason; where technology has put power where it belongs;  in the hands of individuals — in every possible aspect of life.  It’s time for government to get on this same page.  Our bright, passionate people are our state’s greatest asset — it’s time to give them the voice and clout to create real change.

Children First

Our children are our most valuable resource. Yet, we have a school year designed for an agricultural age, a school day designed for an industrial age and accountability and a curriculum standards unfit for any age. I blame politicians. We’re turning this around. Being the 9th worst state in the country in education isn’t okay any more.

Immigration

I fully support legal immigration.  Legal immigration is what made America great.  At the same time, immigration is now a national security issue.  We need to control our border; track those who are in our country but not citizens and end sanctuary cities.

Fix The Water Crisis

Water is destabilizing the state today, and the threat will worsen if we don’t take steps towards a common-sense plan. Through increased water recycling, storage and desalinization, California can lead the world in protecting this most important natural resource.

"It's time for big changes in California. It's time for California to celebrate and nurture its greatest, most important asset... it's people."

Duf Sundheim's Strengths

Duf Sundheim’s successes and real-life experiences give him a background that completely sets him a part from the other candidates.

Duf “walks the talk.” People that Duf has worked with in business, in politics and in everyday-life speak to his strength of character.

Because of his real results, Duf is the only California Republican Party Chairman to be re-elected. His track record speaks volumes about his powers of conviction.

Duf moved from Illinois to attend Stanford, where he played football and graduated with honors of distinction – before graduating with a law degree at Northwestern. Duf moved back and started a family – in the “Land of Dreams.”

How can we get our state and country back on track? These core attributes will be the foundation of Duf’s movement to build a New California.

California. A Better and Brighter Future

Chuck Todd of NBC’s “Meet the Press”, “The Orange County Register” and others are all reporting that it is very likely that a Republican will be on the ballot with Kamala Harris in November.

I’m extremely confident that I will be that candidate. I’m the only candidate in the race that has the vision, the funding and the team to lead California into a better and brighter future.
